Nicole’s maternity session at my beautiful studio in Lino Lakes, MN

Whether it’s outdoors or on location or in my studio, my goal is to provide a gallery of portraits that feel authentic to who you are. Nicole is a photographer herself and was so comfortable moving and posing in front of the camera. But we still kept it real and not over-posed. And the result, helped by the beautiful and timeless look of film, is simply stunning.

Nicole’s dresses were chosen from my newly acquired wardrobe. I’m slowly building a maternity and post-birth mother’s wardrobe for a few reasons. First, not everyone wants to invest in wardrobe pieces that will fit for only a short time. And also importantly, not everyone knows what will photograph well at this stage or has clients this year will have the privilege of working with me as I build this up. Meaning, I’ll work with clients to choose items that will fit and are custom styled based on our conversation. I’m doing this because I want every mama who works with me to feel and look their very best and I know how a beautiful dress can really make that happen. I’m so excited to have this option available but please know that if you have your personal style in place already, I’m excited for that too!
