Stillwater Riverboat Wedding

Allison and Zach’s wedding on the Stillwater Riverboat’s Majestic Star was one of my all time favorites. When I first talked to these two, I knew I was going to LOVE photographing their wedding. Allison was specifically looking for natural documentary style coverage for her wedding day. She wasn’t about fake un-natural poses and made up moments that would take away from their day. From day one when I started my business, THIS was what I set out to do. That has never changed. The wedding industry is filled with so much of what a magazine or blog says a couple should have. And genuine, honest joy and love can get lost in all of that. So while I still still love creating timeless beautiful wedding portraits, I’m ever present in the moment. I’m always documenting those in between moments. The unexpected pieces that make up your wedding day. Call it wedding photojournalism or candid wedding photography. Whatever. I just love it.
