I know how how time consuming wedding planning can be. I know there’s an overwhelming amount of information out there. So much of the advice out there can cause you stress on your wedding day or might take away from the joy and love your wedding day was supposed to be all about.

After countless weddings and years of wedding days that don't always turn out the way a couple has planned, I’ve developed The Perfect Wedding Day Timeline. This template not only helps you focus on building your wedding day around the things that really matter while still being organized, but it’s built to ensure the best possible outcome for your photography. This timeline is unique in that it doesn’t follow the midwest timeline protocol but is modeled after the beautiful weddings of California, Italy, and France, where a wedding day is all about you, your people, beautiful light, and casual elegance.

5:30 PM | Family Photos & Cocktail Hour

8 PM | First Dances

If toasts went too long, swap this with your sunset photos. You don't want to lose this light. It's the perfect light for photos of the two of you. These portraits are important as you now feel like you have the time to slow down and focus on one another. You two are finally married and these portraits will reflect that love and excitement. If you do need to swap this out, just ask your DJ to get the dance started without you. Your first dances can happen as soon as you are back inside. You don't have to be the first ones on the dance floor.
